The Valentino Hotel is located in the village of Bionaz, in the heart of the Alps, about 25 km from the city of Aosta. The long valley of Bionaz is closed by the Grandes and Petites Murailles chain, overawed by the Dent d’Hérens, that rises 4171 m. At only 100 meters from the hotel is situated the Lexert lake, immersed in a wood that represents a wonderful destination for people who are not particularly interested in extremes activities. In winter season Bionaz allows to practice cross country ski in tracks that twist and turn throughout forests and valleys in the hotel proximity. There are also tracks for snow rackets, some easier and others more difficult. In Place Moulin is situated the biggest hydroelectric basin of Europe. Here start many excursions with many destinations like the Prarayer Refuge, the Aosta Refuge the Nacamuli Refuge, trips at the three lakes and many others.

How to get here by car
Aosta Est motorway exit. Follow directions for the Gran San Bernardo Tunnel (green roadsigns), which will quickly take you to the opening of the tunnel connecting with road 27.Go through the tunnel and turn right at its exit, following directions for Valpelline, Diga di Place Moulin. Follow the regional road for a few km until you reach the municipality of Valpelline. Pass the petrol station on the right (the valley’s last service station) and continue uphill as far as the junction for Bionaz on the right at the hairpin bend. Once on this road, follow regional road 28, which passes the municipality of Oyace and after a short uphill tract leads to the Lexert plain, the homonymous lake and then to the hotel, which you will find to your left.
How to get here by public transport
The nearest railway station is in Aosta. The bus station is opposite the train station.Bionaz Bus Service (around 4 services a day except Sundays). The building is near the railway station.
