This proposal is based on the fact that many inhabitants of the bordering area of Canavese and of the same Aosta Valley dont’t know nor visit the touristic locations of the region. Our idea is to suggest to Aosta valley’s hotel owners to arrange a certain number of bookings for residents with especially favorable prices during low seasons (our reference target are 50 to 70-year old people, representing already 25% of the population). Our aim is, on one side, to increase the number of bookings during low season, for those hotels which are opened all year long, and on the other side to give residents the opportunity to relax and rest close to home, eventually creating a positive trend both under the economic (resources will be kept locally) and ecological point of view (short commuting time by car or, even better, by public means).
