SlowAlp’s main concept is to get in close touch with the mountain environment, while accepting the culture of slow-time and reflection. Confronting the steep hikes of the Alps with the slow, measured step of the mountaineer will allow everybody to take part in different series of walks. Thanks to the support of nature guides, it will be possible to observe natural elements that are invisible to those rushing through inattentively. Basing on the same idea, excursions with stops could be organized, with live readings about the mountain, or more specifically about Valpelline, its historical and literary areas (there is in fact a rich bibliography about the valley).
