Turismo etico e sociale

In line with the article 24 of the Universal Declaration of Human Right – “Everyone has the right to rest and leisure, including reasonable limitation of working hours and periodic holidays with pay” the theme of people’s right to holiday, without discrimination of age, cultural identity, financial means and physical ability, was developed through the nineties, as even pope John Paul II mentioned many times that holidays are not a unnecessary accessory, but an important need of entire humanity. Valpelline’s characteristics, together with its low-cost accommodation structures and the touristic offering of SlowAlp, will be able to bring forward a type holiday during which users will learn new competences and integrate with the nature and culture of the territory. This project could also have a precious flywheel effect for this important touristic sector. For this reason, we will be reaching the social departments of main Italian cities, in order to organize trips and touristic packages for low-income population.
